Risks of Treatment

Even non-surgical procedures carry risks and the potential for complications. While Dr. Milovic and our providers are extensively trained and experienced with a comprehensive array of non-surgical procedures and utilize advanced techniques to help mitigate those risks, patients considering treatment should always be fully aware of them beforehand. A member of our team will go over all risks and potential complications associated with the procedure during the initial consultation, and we are happy to address any questions or concerns you may have.

Risks of these procedures include, but are not limited to:

It is worth saying that we do not offer treatments that haven’t been tried and tested. There are so many treatments and claims out there that are not backed by evidence. Dr Milovic will only allow treatments at the clinic if they have been shown to provide improvements in most people. Treatments must be backed by science and evidence, or they aren’t worth doing.

Cosmetic Facial Treatments

Dr Vlad Milovic—our plastic and cosmetic surgeon—administers cosmetic facial treatments at his Melbourne practice. As Dr Milovic’s patient, you will be entitled to an ongoing VIP discount on continuous cosmetic facial treatments. Packages are also available if you wish to book ahead and secure ongoing cosmetic facial treatment appointments.

Patients can generally return to normal activities immediately following treatment; however, there are some precautions to take within the first 24 hours afterwards, including avoiding massages, facials and other beauty treatments and certain exercise.

Dr Milovic will only perform these procedures in accredited facilities. The effects can last anywhere between three to eighteen months depending on the specific treatment. You will be provided with post-treatment instructions.

Please note: some cosmetic facial treatments involve prescribed drugs, which means that it must be prescribed for your use by a qualified medical practitioner. A medical practitioner must either administer your treatments or be present on site where a trained and qualified nurse administers the treatments. Be sure to ask where you are not sure.
